There are many steps in car detailing which are done to ensure the highest quality finish.
- Wash vehicle
Washing is done to carefully remove all the particles that may cause scratches later in the detailing process. Any old wax will also be removed during this stage.
- Dry vehicle
To avoid creating scratches and swirl marks, a blower is used to dry all surfaces.
- Remove excess dirt
A high-quality clay bar and quick detailer will be used to remove any remaining dirt and grime.
- Prep surface with cleaner polish
Next, each section is wiped down with a pre-wax cleaner polish to remove excess residue.
- Inspect surface for imperfections
A crucial step is carefully inspecting all surfaces to check for paint imperfections or swirls. A powerful LED lamp is typically used to ensure nothing is left out.
- Polish surface
If paint correction is necessary, an orbital buffer will be used. Compounds and buffing pads will be chosen according to polishing needs.
- Apply sealant for protection
Once all imperfections have been buffed, a generous amount of wax or sealant will be applied. This provides gloss and durable long-lasting protection for your car.
- Polish wheels
Thereafter, the wheels will also be clayed, polish and waxed.
- Apply sealant to glass surfaces
All windows, head lamps and tail lights will be treated with a non-abrasive sealant. This offers UV protection and slickness to repel water and dirt.
- Clean the interior
The insides of your car will be vacuumed, clean and shampooed. All trim components will also be treated with an interior trim protectant.
- Apply conditioner
Depending on your seats, a leather or fabric conditioner will be used for better appearance and protection. Your carpets, mat and upholstery will also be treated for stain protection.
