Steam cleaning is a method that deals with the cleaning of any surface or material by using steam. The method is used for both domestic and commercial cleaning. It can be used for cleaning upholstery, furniture, floors and machines etc.
How does Steam Cleaning work?
The steam cleaning process is carried with the help of a dry vapour steam that is used to clean, disinfect, sanitize as well as remove the stains and retrain them for building up, for a specific time period. This process is ideal for cleaning of the hard surface and the sealed areas or the areas with lesser projection or openings including car interiors, upholstery and machines. The process is executed with the help of a machine of a temperature of up to 360F. It kills the mould, fungus, allergens and other bacteria.
The water in a steam cleaning machine is boiled which later on converts the liquid into vapours which are then projected with help of a nozel. The steam melts and uses hard dirty on any surface as well as in soft fibres which are later vacuumed or wiped.
Key Components of the Process:
The key elements that are involved in the processing include;
- The boiler that heats up the water in the machine
- A refill tank that helps the operator to add water to the machine while it keeps running
- The detergent tank that helps to supply cleaning material to work with the steam
There are few other accessories that are used occasionally during the process.
